Steiger Peak Relay

The Steiger Peak Relay (Vacaville) is a local neighborhood relay hosted at a private residence.

This site has 5 Internet transmitters (called access points) which transmit a 120-degree directional signal East and West up to 15 miles. Each transmitter connects up to 30 customers. The relay has 2 backhauls (a primary and secondary Internet feed line) that connect to the Lagoon Valley Tower. This site also transports all Internet traffic between the Estate Drive Relay with the main Lagoon Valley Tower.

The site is a 100% solar-powered relay with 100+ hours of battery backup. This site was completely rebuilt after the 2019 LNU Fire destroyed some of the previous relay site and a funnel cloud in 2021 destroyed the rest.
