McQueen Tower

The McQueen Tower (Vacaville) is a 100-ft tall tower (2,764 ft above sea level) located on top of the Blue Ridge Mountain range (on the border of the Solano and Napa Counties).

This site has 10 Internet transmitters (called access points) and two backhauls (primary and secondary Internet feed lines). The backhauls connect to the Lagoon Valley Tower. Each transmitter connects up to 30 customers and transmits a directional signal (45, 60 or 90 degrees) up to 20 miles.

This site also transports all Internet traffic between the Vaca North Tower, the Berryessa Peak Tower and Brehme Relay with the main Lagoon Valley Tower.

The site has a 100+-hour propane generator backup system that starts automatically in the event of a PG&E power outage.
